This survey of nearly 500 IT executives finds decreasing costs, increasing profits, and improving customer loyalty as top priorities for 2003. The survey has been conducted in the United States and Europe. More than forty percent of executives interviewed expect to increase IT spending in 2003. Security is the leading spending priority in Europe, and CRM in the US. Almost one in five companies plan to increase spending on IT outsourcing. Less than 20% is employing ROI or another financial measurement to prove the value of technology investments.
